After much effort, I completed my rear suspension replacement project, with new leaf springs, new U bolts, new shackles and new pins. Much thanks to everyone here who helped this new guy, answering my newbie questions and keeping me moving when I got stuck. Also thanks to Jim Carter truck parts, who seems to be the only supplier that knew that the 55.1 has different leaf springs than the earlier versions. Now to tackle the gas tank replacement project!
