Replaced the shock absorbers on my 59 Apache. They were the originals and had never been changed. I used Gabriel 82047s on the front and Gabriel 82060s on the rear. They came with new hardware. Kroil penetrating oil loosened up the 56-year old bolts pretty well. Quick and easy installation.

What a significant improvement in the ride and handling! I should have done this two years ago when I first got the truck.

Even if they're working properly, the rubber grommets are either missing or shot!
