nice job. I have a 53 3600 annd am at a sticking point. Forgive me for not knowing how to properly describe it but the nut that you have to take off to change the seal (and determines the back lash) it has a cotter pin that is between the differential 3rd member and the universal joint. I measured it and it looks like an 1 5/8 but it did not fit, I am not sure if my socket wasn't thin wall enough or I had the wrong size. Any help would be great. Here is the picture.
