Right now, I'm installing electric window regulators in my '59 Apache. I dug about two pounds of crud out of the driver's side door bottom! I spread that rust converter stuff around the cleaned-out door bottom and let it dry, then sprayed in undercoating. The electric regulators (from 'It's A Snap') ought to bolt in pretty easily. This kit was on e-bay, just as cheap as a pair of NOS mechanical regulators.

I recently finished installing a 25 gallon fuel tank behind the rear axle. The filler's in the rear of the bed. That ought to give me a 640 mile cruising range. I had to disassemble the rear springs and slip the stock overload springs among the other leaves to compensate for the fuel tank weight and a small camper/trailer I pull around sometimes. I have about 11 inches ground clearance for the rear tank.

Last week, I printed out a new speedo face all white with black numbers onto peel-and-stick printer paper, then put that on the speedo backing plate and had a plain glass bezel cover plate fabbed up. Wow! Does it look good!
