Cleaned up the frame in the area where the new Danforth crossmember will be installed. Got the stiffeners welded in and the frame boxing plates tacked in place. got the spring perches tacked in place in the slots in the crossmember ready for test fitting in the frame. Next will be to find a camaro/firebird rack & pinion. Bought a 2 bbl manifold and carb from my local boneyard to replace the 4bbl manifold and Edelbrock on the 283. Also bought a rebuild kit for the 2 bbl. One more good weekend and maybe,just maybe I can get some cruising in before it snows. So far so good. Still need some POR15 for the crossmember because it sat for 10 months and accumulated some surface rust before I got around to working on it.
