Big Chevy...will do. I also have some picture to upload to my photobucket but the wife has to do some work on the kodak Easy Share thing. Maybe in the next day or two.
I did get one of the wing vent assemblies totally taken apart tonight. I have the window glass soaking in gas so I can get the glass out of the frame. Someone had attempted to redo them and hte glass was pushed in the frame so far it would not seal. I have all the rivets,rubber and vertical strips to re-do them. I hope by Monday to have both of the frames blasted and primed and ready to paint and reassemble. So far so good.
The little swivel pop rivet at the top was a little aggravating to grind the head off and punch it out but the little dremel tool and a very small punch did the trick with a good whack of the hammer.
However, it is good to take it easy when taking off the bottom nut that holds the glass in the frame...the one with the spring on the bottom. I took my time and got it off but it took some penetrating oil and twisting it back and forth, back and forth for a little. Be sure to watch how the washers come off with the nut as two are small and one big. You can figure it out but its nice to be "observant"!!

EDIT: Bigchevy: I ask a couple question over in the Doors Forum tha might be interesting. You never know what you might find when you take apart one of these or rather what someone might have done or tried to do.
