Just took my '65 c20 for a drive to let the puppy girls run and enjoy a ride in the truck. Stopped for some beverages on the way home and can't shift into reverse now. The overdrive lockout cable is a hair out of adjustment. Would have crawled underneath to slide the lockout lever the rest of the way into lockout, but there was a major influx of street people going to the store while I tried every which way to get it to work. Had to resort to the Flinstones style of reverse to leave the store and keep the hyper young ones from trying to bail out of the cab while doing so. Since the sun is almost down and I have one more stop, I will adjust the cable tomorrow when things are cool to the touch.
