Pulled my custom transmission crossmember out that I made when I swapped in the overdrive trans. I knew it had some flex in it and it needed gussets on the trans tab. I doubled up the ends where it mounts and then i made some 3/16 gussets and welded them onto the tab. Zero flex now and I’m 99% sure I solved my occasional 3rd gear pop out issue. I drove it tonight up bumpy hills in 3rd and it stayed in 100%. That makes me happy. I will definitely know if I drive it into work tommorow.
