More like what I did not get done today... Work the last couple of weeks fixing the bed side panels on my '52 restoration. Got the first one smoothed with plastic filler and hung it up to paint. Oops, it fell on the floor from 5 feet up...ruined. Time to give Mar-K a call and order TWO new bed sides. Let me tell you something: forget fixing a surface rusted beat up bedside it simply is not worth the time and trouble when Mar-K sells an (assumed until I see it) excellent reproduction. Doh!

But, I did manage to get the spots welds "bondo-ed" out on the interior side of the new tailgate and covered in epoxy primer along with my new front panel and rear sill/cross member. I debated a long time with myself on whether or not to fill the spot welds on the tailgate. I answered my own question after applying epoxy primer and seeing the imperfections in the metal due to stamping of the "Chevrolet" and spot welds. It simply did not fit the bill on what I am trying to accomplish with my restoration. The spot welds will show on the 'exterior" side for a bit of remaining authenticity.
