I got the electric wiper motor working with the drivers side wiper only. I bought the "54 GMC" motor off ebay several years ago for the '54 pick up I was building. I found out it doesn't bolt up to a '54 GMC. It looks very similar to a Task Force Chevy electric motor but is clearly marked 6V. It had to be aft of and lower than the stock location to clear the cowl vent. Consequently, the arms need to be longer to reach it. I mounted it where the driver side reaches and I'll have to build an extended arm for the passenger side, with a bend to clear the glovebox.
