Took her out for a spin today. Four blocks down, four blocks back.

Doesn't seem like much, but it's taken me 14 months to get her back on the road after grenading the transmission. Most of the down-time was spent searching for another suitable 3spd. I scoured eBay, Craigslist, swapmeets and repair shops.

I had one shop tell me that they could rebuild what I had so I left it with them. six months later they still hadn't done anything. They were 120 miles away so it wasn't the easiest thing to get it back.

I finally found a donor and then had the replacement rebuilt. Good thing too - the cluster gear was a little ragged.

Now it's all back together and we're getting reacquainted ;-)

Everything is different now...
