While waiting for my new gas tank to arrive(another story) :mad:
I decided to try my hand at some basic carpentry.
I formed a wooden framework over the gas tank and sheeted it with 1/2" and 1/4" ply,sunk my rear speakers in,I also fitted my front speakers in where the original was.
The head unit now resides in the glove box,I hate to see sheet metal cut up for hi-fi installations....

Note: NO Chevrolet was harmed in the making of this thread...... wink
