I had to go to a wedding, but also had an opportunity to work on the truck. I tore into the rear end and found the gears to be in good shape, but the drums will have to be replaced. The brake shoes have worn large grooves into the drums. I also got behind the wheel of the 1959 2-ton grain truck and drove it around the farm just to remember what it feels like to drive an old truck.

Never hold your farts in. They travel up your spine and into your brain...that is where crappy ideas come from.
