Finally got the truck out of Austin Speed Shop, where they redid the suspension and brakes. Failed inspection for emer brake, turn signals, and a couple of other things, so will retry tomorrow, at B&B Automotive on Lamar. Took the day just acquainting myself with this wonderful pile of metal! My wife even got on the creeper and I showed her what an old truck looked like from the bottom.
One thing I noticed is it tends to stall when I turn a corner, and idle down. I wonder if is just idle speed, carb float level, or maybe vapor lock from heating up on a 100+ day.
