I managed to get some of the knobs where they go on the dash, banged down a high spot in the floorboard and did a bunch of research (some here on the bolt and some from an article from Hot Rod Deluxe, Sept '09 - Seat Time, "How to Rebuild Vintage Seats at Home). I'm getting an original seat (in pretty rough shape) this week and want to be prepared.
