I drove my wife's little Beatle diesel to save gas/diesel. 631 miles and only 13.999 gallons.
No Todd, it's still 60 days out of being finished. Exhaust (SS X pipe), inside trim and carpet, headliner, door hardware (handles, lock, more sound deadner), mount radio speakers, fabricate new glove-box to fit around air-conditioner evap., mount grill and hood, finish wiring headlights, park-lamps, taillights, turn signals, and bleed the brakes. With all this heat here in Texas I haven't been able to do much. I believe this high pressure cell will be moving out by Wednesday and we should be seeing some cooler weather.

I made a video of our first start of the crate engine at the first of the summer but haven't figured out how to get it on Utube yet. Soon with the pics, I promise.
