That's my point,from Alvin and Todd's reply I knew what would happen, I just mis-read Bruces (britcon) reply.
Thankfully it didn't do any damage,and no it didn't leak! grin
Scared the carp out me though.....

I did however manage to spill fluid down the front of the engine,the pump's mounted low on the left of the engine,right below the alternator mount.
It's hard enough just to get the cap off!
