Rather than mechanical work on my Bolt, I did some research for future work I'll be performing in the next month or two. I did this research out at the Texas Motor Speedway where the Spring Goodguys show was going on. I've been to rod shows before but this took the cake. Thousands of street rods and all kinds of classics were being shown. Of course my eyes caught each and every Advance Design pickup. I was able to get some ideas of all the different ways to finish out my truck. Mainly cosmetic issues but also issues of cooling and wheels and upholstery.

I also got the chance to meet Cletis (Charley Hardin)and his bride in person after all these years.
