I got the bed completely disassembled, sanded down, rust proofed and primed. Then I used a roll on bed-liner on the inner sides. A little messy to use, but the results were great. I had trouble getting masking tape to stick to it so I could paint the non-coated outer parts, so now I have some overspray on the liner that will need to be touched up. Glad I have some coating left over to use on this.

Meanwhile Sunday we took her for a ride, sans bed, about 25 miles to donate blood. I am still having trouble with the steering box adjustment. I have it a little too tight and have to constantly make steering adjustments. This added to the play in the wheel makes highway driving a real chore.
