Hah! I've actualy been thinkin about gettin my CDL, always seems to be a need for dumps around here, roads choked with em!
Truck is only rated for 16K, altho I think my paid tonnage is 12K, Have to look at my registration and have it corrected when I renew next month. Dont have anywhere to spread gravel, altho I might have a freind up the road that could use some rock in his driveway. If I remember seeing this done right, I just shorten the chains so the gate pops about 2", then tilt and start rolling out as it dumps. All about learning the proper speed to get the right depth huh?
I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things. But thats just MY opinion! :P
