I got the front wheels & drums off yesterday. Decided to cheat & pulled the whole thing off at once & took the wheel & drum to tire shop for seperation.
I dont think I can use the same trick on the rear end, but then again the two wheels and drum together are gonna be HEAVY! If I use my motorcycle jack to maneuver them it should slide off, just dunno how the axle comes apart since someone liberated my shop manual,...

The front brake shoes & drums look really good, the right side had been changed in the not so distant past, but both brake cylenders were rusted in place. I doubt they have worked for several years, hence the low wear rate. However, they look to be a 3/4" or 7/8" bore, & I coulda swore they were supposed to be bigger than that. Either way, they need to be replaced so I'll get the correct size & be done with it!

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
But thats just MY opinion!
