Oh yeah, and as if having two project cars isn't enough, my 2000 GMC is bein a butt as well. Getting a couple minor issues fixed at the shop and they find that my knock sensor is bad. The durned thing is located in the air gap under the intake so the tech reaches around there to see if maybe it's just unplugged and finds, of all things, a rats nest! So, we dunno if the sensor is bad, if it's unplugged, or the rat chewed the wires. but lookin at the cost to get it done vs. the cost to do it myself,... Yep, looks like project # 3 (vehicular anyway, I have MANY others) is on the boards now! Oh, joy!
I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things. But thats just MY opinion! :P
