Thanks Guys! I did pick up a couple gaskets from eBay last night, so I'll wait to see if they fit. I also picked up one of the 404-G motors to have for parts if needed. I've been watching a few YouTube videos and I'll try to rebuild myself - we'll see how that goes.
I talked with Ficken yesterday and he could not rebuilt the KSB 404-G unit. I asked if there are other units that could fit my '46 application and he didn't know of any. I know he doesn't sell parts, but I should have asked if there were any other units that used the same paddle. Maybe I could spot one on eBay and grab it.
One YouTube video said the manufacturer suggests using brake fluid to lubricate. Some comments said not to use brake fluid. Mystery Oil, Trans, Grease, Leather Oil, ... were other suggestions. I'm thinking anything thick would not work so well and cause too much drag on the paddle.
I'll give the rebuild a try and if it doesn't work, I guess I'll look into the electric options again.
