It's been raining here the last couple days, so I decided to get my storage box installed into the bed and have a place to store my bottle jack and a few tools. I'll probably add some carpet or maybe a rubber mat. I did add some little rubber feet that line up with the bed strips. It will keep the box raised a little above the bed and maybe help to keep things dry under there. I'm going to use two of the bed strips bolts on the back side to hold it down, but I'll need to drill a couple holes on the front side.
