this wire is most likely not near long enough. IMHO. But maybe so. Looks problematic even if there is slight relief.
As long as we are criticizing, I'd run the "bypass" wire from where it currently attached to the stomp switch, but put the other end on the bottom of the ballast resistor. Looks cleaner.
