I had the gas tank refurbished ($450) - cleaned and resealed. I got it installed today. Now I can look at connecting the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump. I see some fuel filters before the fuel pump and others place it up top before the carburetor. I guess I'll research some posts to find out reasons behind their decisions.
