Photos of the highest resolution possible. Prepare them:
1 - crop
2 - any size but formatted
3 - naming scheme (get this from the email)
4 - choose the order
6 - titles - send a title page in any format (e.g., MS Word). Include the W's - who, where, what (e.g., Macungie, PA, Antique Truck Show, June 14-16, 2007). Fewer words the better ... because you can have breaks (see #7) throughout the presentation.
7 - breaks allowed -- you can include additional titles, information in the breaks
8 - credits - on a separate page. Try to use a standard font (Arial, Times New Roman) for credits, 10 - 12 points. If it's too big, it won't fit on the page. If it's too small, it can't be easily read. Include in the credits the persons who took the photos.
9 - select songs to go with your presentation. We are obtaining a use license for certain music. If you have something that is included in the license, we wil be able to use it. If possible, also burn the song onto the CD. If it is not covered in the license agreement, we will attempt to get permission to use the music. Please be sure to include the name of the song (title), from what album, and who is the artist.
10 - buy mailing the CD to Tim, you acknowledge the rights of The Stovebolt Page and Tim Lederman to use the images and information for the 2007 Stovebolts on Parade DVD. (The photographers retain the rights to the images; TSP and TL will be responsible for and have the rights to the presentation.)
Contact information.
One person should send it in for the entire event and would be responsible for preparing them. Burn the images and text to a CD..
Our intention is to prepare this video throughout the summer and have it ready by late fall (when all the shows are over). It may be the first of the year, depending on everyone's work schedule. We will have a high definition DVD with a full slide show set to music. We will also prepare a portion or portions of the DVD for viewing on the web (which will be in a lower resolution, but PC quality). We will have a trial of the first two or three shows that come in.
The final product is copywrited by The Stovebolt Page and Tim Lederman.
