I have finished the lower rear of the outer right front fender. It took me a while but it turned out quite well. Of course, it will need a skim of filler to iron out any "wrinkles" but it's pretty darn close. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the finished area. I will update it when it when I get one.

I have started on the lower front part. I have cut out the rusted and smashed section. The photos were taken after I had beat the dent out in order to have my original "template" for reference. I have been fighting with reproduction panels that are close but not good enough. The curves are good but the bloody belt lines and creases look terrible compared to factory, I have cut every single reproduction panel apart in order to get them fit as I want. Along the way I was beating on the patch panel in my vice with my hammer trying to get it to fit better. The panel wasn't moving well so I hit it harder. It still was not moving quickly or adequately enough, so I hit it harder and faster until WHACK! I clipped the left tip of my thumb and separated the nail from the nail bed. Needless to say that ended the day's shop time.

I'm feeling irritated and encouraged at the same time on this fender. I am looking forward to having all the front fenders all done and then either finishing the doors (which I am waiting on parts for) or starting to fit the hood and repair it.
