The pillar support, inner kick panel are installed and the rockers have been aligned with the doors. I had to relief cut the reproduction rockers in several places in order to get them to fit just so. The gaps on the doors are quite good considering how much metal I cut out. The door hinges are up next. I’d like to hang the doors next and gap them to the rockers and back cab wall so I can install the cab corners, but I figure I’d better get the hinges up to 100% before I install the final panels.
Hopefully everything will line up. This process has been a challenge for me. I only get to work about an hour or so at a time, so it has taken longer than I expected. I hope to have the floor, rockers, cab corners and door hinges complete by the end of August.
I also cleaned out the parts shed and got rid of a bunch of junk. I put up some local classified ads for some of it. Hopefully it sells and I can put the money toward some things for the c10. I then moved all the C10 parts (most of which will be sold off or junked as I won’t be using a lot of it) into the shed. I also ordered new trailing arm and panhard bar bushings which should arrive by Wednesday.
