Here is a pic of #5 and #6 lifters and push rods in the gallery of the derelict engine. This is why I pulled the engine and labeled it as a derelict engine.
Second pic is of the rockers. I can't find any evidence of water intrusion here. This is why I was considering swapping this head to the engine that's currently in the truck. First thing I noticed is the crimped off pipe in the derelict engine (pic 3). That pipe is not present in the engine that's in the truck. The derelict engine is from 1954 and the truck engine is from 1961.
