You probably already know it, but maybe not, so I wanted to offer a tip I use when creating hard lines. Get a coat hanger and bend it to use as a template to figure out where you want the lines to go. Once you're happy that the lines will run where you want, then use the finished template to form the lines.
The process has sped up line making for me, with fewer do overs.
