Sorry the hear about your challlenges. I'm curious how the dome light short resulted in blowing the gauges, seems like the gauges should have been isolated from that ciruit but maybe I am not thinking about your version of wiring correctly.
I'll be interested to hear how the Dolphin gauges work out for you. I considered them but went a different direction so I have often wondered if I made the correct choice.
