As originally wired, both of the 700's I have had the flasher upstream of the 700 (on the line supplying power to the unit). So, Phil, what is the reason to put two flashers down stream?

Maybe this will help. I've tried to illustrate the actual problem to solve. "Solve for X"

But it kinda looks like I can make Phil's diagram work. As long as I can completely remove the front lights (they are accounted for) and put the flasher on the incoming power line.
