Ken, the flasher wiring is way simpler than relays, so there's an advantage there. And with the Signal-Stat 700, my research indicates the pilot lights are not on a separate circuit from the signal lights themselves, so running the pilot wire from the flasher won't work. It will on the AutoLamp 9000 I have, since it's pilot circuit is independent of the light circuits. [on edit] I see that Cletis' (RIP) tech tip indicates that the SignalStat 700 uses a 2 terminal flasher (without pilot output.)
Waiting to see what Jerry comes up with for 2 relays and 2 diodes.
