Ken, isn't two connections on a flasher simpler than 4 or 5 on a 5 pin relay? It is in my world. Like I said, the 700 can't use an external pilot signal, so using Jerry's diagram, with the flasher activating the two relays (I know you don't like that, but...) solves John's issue with front lights AND the integrated pilots on the 700. If I was in John's shoes, having a 700, I'd go with Jerry's solution. With the addition of two four (just read Jerry's revision) diodes, he has everything he needs to make his signals work.
