It would help to know the tire pressures. Not withstanding that, I see two choices. No brake function on that 700.

1. Buy a 7 wire signal stat or equivalent. As Jerry has posted. By far the easiest and best solution. The T/S switch gets wired to the brake switch. The turn signal switch turns off the brake switch signal to the bulbs brake/turn filament to allow flash. The other filament is tail light. This filament is wired to the headlight switch, not to the T/S switch. This is true in all methods described. The 7 wire will handle all you want to do. We will help wire it if you need. Mostly splicing into stuff.

2. Maintain Sig Stat 700:
a. You can do it with two bulbs per side. I believe you don't want that.
b. 5 pin Bosch Relay solution in diagram below is supposed to do it.

3. Don't know about the idea of using diodes so I would not do it that way. Can't advise on that way.

Diode voltage question answered. They deal in amps mostly and voltage max 2nd. The 80111 is rated at 6A. The actual diode part number not given and probably costs 75 cents.... or less. Diodes are not the key to anything you want to do.
