Update on the "Hot Starting Problem":
It is now May 2016, and the hot starting issue persists.
I have put a new battery in, a new starter, new solenoid, new plugs, wires, points, condensor, rotor. Cleaned all the battery cables and connections.
She fires right up when cold, and runs great. Take her for a 15 minute drive and turn off the engine, and she barely turns over and does not want to start.
Very frustrating.
Is it possible that an over-charged battery does not have much cranking ability? Do I now assume that I have a bad voltage regulator and spend even more money replacing it? Or is this just throwing more money at the problem?
Anyone ever have this problem before????????
