You're still just a skosh high on the charging voltage. I'd be a lot more comfortable seeing a top reading of 14.5 or a bit more. When a battery boils electrolyte out to the point of exposing plate material, it gets "sulfated" and usually exhibits symptoms similar to what you've been describing. Occasionally, sulfation can be broken down by totally discharging and slow recharging the battery repeatedly. I use an old headlight sealed beam to run a battery down completely, then charge it at a 10-15 amp rate for 2 or 3 days, and repeat the cycle several times. Some batteries recover, others don't. It's kind of a crapshoot! Glad you're on the way to a good fix.
