Mike B.......I did those tests a few months ago before replacing all the parts. It was charging on the high side (around 15.5 volts) after driving 10 minutes. I tried tweeking the old voltage regulator by adjusting the points, and got it down a bit.
I did find an old-style replacement volt. reg. on ebay at a really good price, so I have that on order. If the new volt. reg. does not solve the problem, then I guess I will get out a few sticks of dynamite.
