Jerry......thanks. Someone else told me that the charging voltage was still a bit high.....so I will take the V.Reg. off again and close up those points even more....try to get it at 14 v idle and 14.5 higher rpms. Im glad there was an adjusting screw on the coil.
I have nothing to lose.....i will experiment with the old battery, discharging and charging and see what happens.
