OK, I meant to ask about washers. One or two had external stars, the rest had lock washers or flat washers.
How does that captive ferule fitting attach to the tubing?
I wonder if I could just attach both existing pieces together with a coupler? It's probably too far up in that passageway to get a fitting on it.
Can the upper piece of copper be removed with the captive ferule fitting intact and then re-attached? Or is it a one time use?
