Yeah I'm kind of worried about what I'm going to find when I get that cover off because it sure seems like that oil tube is broken off in there.
If there's oil getting to the rockers, I really doubt that the oil tube is broken off.
I'm with Chuck on waiting to to take the side cover off. Spinning the oil pump with a drill before doing anything else would be my first step at this point. That will definitely tell you whether the oil tube is broken, and I'll bet you'll get some oil out of the overflow at the rockers.
