Got my short block back today and got started reassembling. Installed the crank gear, camshaft, and oil pump with pickup. Found out I'm missing a timing cover gasket and no one in town has one, so I ordered one from Amazon to arrive on Tuesday. I think I'll make the Aug 2 show.
