July 2025 - INSTALLING PAN

Removed the dipper trough and spray nozzles from the oil pan that aren’t needed anymore with pressure oiling to the rods. Cleaned up the pan and repaired some minor pitting at the bottom with some JB Weld. When installing the pan on the engine I found that it wouldn’t seat all the way on the block because of interference with one of the baffles and the oil pump piping, so trimmed the baffle to clear it. Got the pan installed and the bottom end buttoned up.
