Otto - have you had a chance to do any of the head gasket tests yet?
Side note - On a very hot day, my truck will creep up around 200 degrees if idling at a long stop light. Back to 180 as soon as I am moving. I consider that normal behavior for my setup.
It sounds like that’s roughly what you are experiencing, but it’s not the way your truck typically behaves….is that right?
