Shipping the silly thing both ways is what makes it something more than a complete no-brainer.
When a new pump (albeit from questionable origins) is only $100ish…that’s what would make me weigh both options.
Before I watched his video, I probably leaned toward buying the kit and rebuilding myself. The thought of doing that and still having a leaky pump….seems less than attractive.
