It was difficult to discern whether the pump was working or not by looking in the cap but when the upper hose was disconnected water came shooting out. So I think that's a pretty good indication that the pump is functioning.. of course it poured water all over the generator.
Of course now I guess my only option is to begin flushing this system and see what I can discover.
I did bring a partial jug of muriatic acid that I had laying around I'd say it's about a third of a gallon. What would be an approximate mix ratio? Or should I just pour it in and fill up the rest with water and let it run for a while?
