Thanks to a lead from Martin, I now have a manifold! Went and picked it up this morning, and am off to clean it up and install. Thanks for the explanation, Dave. I know the timing was off when I first started working on the truck, so maybe that was it. I'm running it advanced now, so should that cause any issues? I'm not sure how advanced, since it's been a while since I set it. I timed it with the engine running, and the pointer in the timing hole was pointing near the triangle stamped on the flywheel. That is where the engine seemed to run the best.
