Some time ago, an older gentleman/ mechanic was looking at my truck and got to telling stories from the good old days
He shared that the Chevy dealer in our area used to have a tool/fixture that allowed a 216 crank to be ground without removing the engine from the vehicle. Was hard for me to imagine, but once I looked it up, seems as though it was fairly common procedure.
