Others will disagree, but I would pull the coil wire and crank the engine several times for about 6-8 seconds each. Check for oil to the rockers then put the coil wire back on and start it up. If you are comfortable pulling and re-stabbing the distributor then by all means do it that way. Take the distributor out and insert a flat blade screwdriver with the handle removed into the hole engaging the oil pump drive. Chuck it up in your 1/2 inch drill and spin away. You will feel resistance when the pressure builds. You will need to turn the pump to the proper position for the distributor to line up with #1 when you put it back in. Your getting there.🛠
